I am Elisa Hofmann, a Research Associate and Lecturer at the Department of Intercultural Studies and Business Communications (Intercultural Human Resource and Organizational Development) at the Friedrich Schiller University Jena.
As behavioral economist, my research is interdisciplinary and intertwines economics with psychology. I focus on behavior and decision making under uncertainty, prosocial behavior, participative pricing mechanisms, climate change negotiations, resilience, and simulation games. I apply methods like laboratory and online experiments as well as surveys and simulation games to investigate human decision making as individuals, in groups, and in organizations.
